Judiciary chief: US must be tried for human rights violations

Judiciary chief: US must be tried for human rights violations
IRAN  - In a public gathering held in commemoration of Imam Khomeini on Tuesday, Ayatollah Raeesi mentioned the terrible conditions in western countries especially in the US and described the US police brutality against black people as the real face of the US government.

The judiciary chief also counted the great measures taken by the Execution of Imam Khomeini's Order including 2400 civil projects all over the country, 188,000 job opportunities for people damaged by coronavirus, financial aid granted to 3500 families having persons with disabilities and providing deprived areas of the country with four million packages containing necessary foods.

"The Islamic society has been based on justice. But, basic human rights are violated in the US and the so-called human rights advocates are silent. Racism in the US is not merely related to people with different skin colors; it is in fact the US government's systematic racism which needs to be put to trial", Ayatollah Raeesi added.
