Victims of acid attacks become clothing models
IRAN  - For the first time in Iran, female victims of acid attacks have been asked to cooperate with modeling companies as clothing models, according to Khabaronline.

Amen Khademi, the director of Mahoora Cultural Center told khabaronline that with the cooperation of the Association for Protection of Acid Attack Victims, we managed to convince these female victims to work with us as models to advertise our brand.

In Iran and all over the world, there are people who lose their beauty due to such incidents and in addition to the physical suffering; they have to cope with certain mental challenges. In fact, in comparison to men, such issues trigger a deeper negative impact on women since they become more reserved after this traumatic experience, Khademi said.

"Our cultural center firmly believes that every single human being has a natural beauty and women in particular have been gifted both mental and physical attractions. Therefore, we are determined to show that even women with acid burns can still enjoy their beauty and present it as a gift to others by wearing the clothes we design", she added.
