Iranian NGO calls on Indian lawyers to break silence on brutal killing of Muslims
IRAN  - In a letter to the Indian Central Bar Association, Solh-e Ziba International Association of Human Rights called on lawyers to break silence on brutal killing of Muslims.

The full text of the letter is as follows:

Dear and respectful colleagues, the justice-seeking attorneys of India, you deserve to take pride on your old and authentic legal system. What is evident from your legal literatures is essentially a thorough attempt to protect and promote human rights which take their origin from the Constitution of India.

National Commission for Women, National Commission for Minorities, National Human Rights Commission, electronic media and smart and independent letters, public awareness and active movements of non-governmental organizations in Indian Legal System and improvisation of guarantees to protect human rights in India, the land of wonders and religions and diverse beliefs, provide you with the authority and powers to stand up against the gross cruelties such as killing and persecution of Muslims, burying alive of muslim women and children. Your indifference and inaction reinforces the systematic violation of human rights.

Could you stay silent in the face of oppression and death of humanity?!

The world has known India as the land of affection and compassion. Could India at the present prove itself as the homeland of "Gandhi the free thinker"?! Gandhi believed India's victory depended on following the footsteps of Imam Hussein.

Do you know that Muslims have no life security in your country?!

In the statute of Indian Central Bar Association, providing legal assistance to Indian ethnics has been mentioned as a "humane duty". Even otherwise, you who have taken the oath to uphold the right and justice; don't feel worried that these events undermine justice and put an end to humanity in your country?! While the world is witnessing inhumane and racist violence in India, the country's constitution upholds justice and equal rights enshrined based on numerous principles and the country has already joined to over 16 International Human Rights Instruments and accepted regular fulfillment of the commitments.

Dear attorneys, lawyers and legal society of India; your legal and justice system has extricated itself from your culture and you insist on remaining indifferent to this unfortunate fact.

According to the spokesperson for the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, Mr. Jeremy Laurence "New citizenship Law in India (amended in 2019) will have a discriminatory effect on people's access to nationality", and has excluded the Muslim community from its support.
My dear colleagues, don't you feel a sense of responsibility to stop the violation of paragraph 4 of the Indian Constitution?!

You as the attorneys who want to uphold justice and enlighten the minds in the courts to achieve right and justice, will you and can you refer to a law that in essence is the violator of the justice and equality?!
Today the Bollywood doesn't have to spend huge amounts of money to produce romance movies, Delhi's streets are teeming with the tragic events that involve dying of emotions, affections and humanity.

Please, as the modern humans educated on laws and justice, don't let the fascist organizations to prepare resolutions for you.

You didn't support the oppressed people in the great crime that took place in Jagrat Mosque, don't miss the opportunity to support and defend the Muslim children and women who are killed and displaced.

Heart wrenching scenes are taking place in your country and you my dear colleagues should be at the forefront of the fight to stop these crimes against humanity and it is your obligation as a human and as an Indian to put an end to this pain inflicted on the integral body of the India which is the heritage of great Gandhi.

As a person from a friend country with cultural affinity, I talk to you my dear colleagues out of benevolence and with regarding your judicial and legal capacities based on transparency policy and responsiveness and cooperation with all the mechanism of the UN on human rights, and continuous dialogues with domestic and foreign NGOs.

Humanity, justice, and defending oppressed people do not know any boundary and cannot be based on color, race and religion. I beg you to bravely defend the rights of your Muslim compatriots. Actually, this is a defense of maternal prestige of the Gandhi's India.

Sakinehalsadat Paad, the Justice and legal assistant of Solh-e Ziba International Association of Human Rights
