15 children dead due to US sanctions on medicine
IRAN  - Lack of medical equipment resulted from the US cruel sanctions has caused children to die at an NGO which provides medical treatment for children with skin diseases, Hamidreza Hashemi, the director of EB Patients Association told ISNA.

Mepilex products are a necessity for patients with skin diseases and if they do not have access to these dressings, for which unfortunately there is no alternative treatment, they would suffer from fatal pain in their organs, he added.

"As the US sanctions resumed in 2018, Mepilex products stopped being imported to Iran. I believe that the sanctions on food and medicine need to be announced to the whole world as inhumane actions. Contrary to the US claims, the Human Rights Watch has confirmed that sanctions on food and medicine have been passed against Iran", Hashemi said.
