The fifth Islamic Human Rights Prize awarded
IRAN  - On the Islamic Human Rights and Human Dignity Day, human rights advocates were awarded the Islamic human rights prizes.

The winners were:

Mohdi Azmi Abdul Hamid, Malaysian consultative Council of Islamic Organizations,

Marzieh Hashemi, news analysis and human rights activist,

Ms.Qoshooni, the head of the Institute for Protection of Women's Rights,

Dr. Mohammad Javad Arasta, the author of the book "Islamic Human rights Regime",

Mohammad Mehdi Seifi, the author of the master's dissertation "Principles of Human Rights Based on Allame Tabatabaee's Thoughts",

Mohsen Keshtkar, the author of the master's dissertation "Comparative Study of the Right to Life in International and Islamic Human Rights".

Sheikh Ebrahim El-Zakzaky was also appreciated but due to the fear for his and his family's safety, the award was not granted to him.
