Police officer killed in western Iran
IRAN  - A police officer was killed and an oil tanker was detonated in an armed conflict in Darreh Garm, Khorramabad on Wednesday.


Speaking to IRNA on Wednesday, Khorramabad governor Asad Abdollahi confirmed the news, saying that provincial security officials are investing the issue.

According to the witnesses, after shooting toward an oil tanker which was parked near a gas station, unknown people targeted police officers present in the area.

Explosion of the tanker also resulted in breaking windows of the buildings nearby.

Based on the reports, attackers broke into a car parked in the area and ran away.
