Bangladeshi HR activist provided Rohingya children with education

Bangladeshi HR activist provided Rohingya children with education
IRAN  - There are 110 students studying at a primary school where Rokonuzzaman Ansari, a Ph.D student in sociology with a research topic focusing on the Islamic history and culture works as the school principal.

Following the Rohingya crisis many people lost their lives or were physically harmed. Among them, there are children with physical disabilities some of whom are highly talented in learning, Ansari said at the ceremony for commemoration of Islamic Human Rights and Human Dignity and Awarding the 4th Prize of Islamic Human Rights on Sunday morning.

In order to run the school which is not actually a modern one, the Rohingya residents have been appointed as the school staff, for; they understand the plight of the children and also feel the responsibility on their shoulders, he added.

Mr. Ansari also said that the required documents are being collected to prove the genocide and ethnic cleansing occurred in Rohingya at the international legal bodies, adding that the trauma the children in the camp for Rohingya refugees have experienced has been so bad that the severe effects of that interfere with their ability to live a normal life.

Rokonuzzaman Ansari was awarded the Islamic Human Rights prize in the ceremony.
