Human rights reports on Iran politically-loaded
IRAN  - Venezuelan representative at annual session of the Human Rights Council in Geneva said human rights reports on Iran were politically-motivated and based on dual standards.

"We reject the request made on Iran by some countries present at the Council meeting," the Venezuelan spokeswoman told the 37th Human Rights Council conference.

He added that Iran is a country that stands against imperialism and that human rights reports about Iran are politically-loaded and are based on dual standards.

The thirty-seventh session of the UN Human Rights Council started on Monday, February 26, 2018, in Geneva, and will continue until March 23, 2018.
