Syria urges UNHRC to focus on situation of Palestinians

Syria urges UNHRC to focus on situation of Palestinians
IRAN  - Syrian representative at Human Rights Council’s session said many reports are replete with lies and the Council should focus on the situation of the Palestinian people instead of focusing on Iran.

"Despite the fact that the Human Rights Council is expected to have an impartial stance, all its reports on Iran are aimed at boosting pressure against Tehran," the Syrian ambassador to the Human Rights Council's meeting underlined.

He added that many reports are false; the UN Human Rights Council should focus on the situation of the Palestinian people instead of focusing on Iran.

The thirty-seventh session of the UN Human Rights Council began on Monday, February 26, 2018, in Geneva, Switzerland, and will continue until March 23, 2018.
