Enemies acknowledge Iran’s progress in human rights arenas
IRAN  - Iran’s Human rights chief said the delegation of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Geneva had presented a wide range of documents that respond to all charges against the country to the extent that even enemies were forced to acknowledge Iran’s progress in the field of human rights.

Secretary of High Council for Human Rights (HCHR) of Iran Mohammad Javad Larijani said the Iranian delegation, with assistance of its embassy, judiciary as well as the HCHR had responded to each and every accusation against the country using a wide range of documents. "Iran's efforts at the 37th meeting of UNHRC left enemies with no option but admit to the huge advancements made by Tehran in human rights areas.

The official went on to add that the US and Europe think they have a lasting success, while the human rights situation in these countries is in its worst state, and one day, the disastrous human rights conditions in these countries resulting in atrocities that humans are facing need to be prosecuted.

"At the ongoing Human Rights Council meeting, Australia spoke on under-eighteen executions in Iran and raised criticisms against our country," stressed Larijani adding "Australia possesses the worst record on its own indigenous people and has committed genocide continuously and directly; only a few months ago, a pregnant Iranian woman was imprisoned without charge only because Americans were upset and suspicious and was forced to give birth to her child inside the jail."

The official, in response to a question about necessary reforms that have to take place in the human rights structure of the world, said "in view of the existing atmosphere and the frankness with which the Islamic Republic of Iran expresses its views, independent countries are likely to hear our voice which is much-sought by the world as a means of eliminating practical disputes.
