Over 250,000 child soldiers slaves of war around world
World  - Worldwide there are over 250,000 children still exploited as soldiers in armed conflicts, UNICEF reported.

23 countries bent by this problem, according to UNICEF, that few days before the International Day of Child soldiers reported the official figures of the United Nations. Only in eastern Democratic Republic of Congo is estimated that 30% of the guerrillas of the non-state armed groups is formed by minors of both sexes.

In need of psychological support, medical exams, educational and leisure activities to help them reintegrate into civilian life and overcome unspeakable violations of which they were victims, these children are used as human shields, messengers or spies, fighters and sexual objects.

Real slaves properly educated after having been kidnapped or recruited by force. Why children? For the weight, that makes them agile, lighter and more suitable to sneak silently during an attack.

Moreover, they are more vulnerable because of poverty, more obedient, can be easily manipulated and they're cheaper than adult soldiers. Since 1998, Unicef says, 100 thousand have been saved and re-inserted in their communities of origin in over 15 different countries.
