- The former Ambassador and Deputy Permanent Representative for the Islamic Republic of Iran to the United Nations in Geneva said the Israeli rhetoric about striking Iran is a psychological war and a vivid violation of Iranian's right of living in peace.
Speaking to the panel "Human Rights and the Sanctions" which held in side line of the 19th UNHRC session in Geneva, Dr. Seyed Kazem Sajadpour called the western sanctions against Iran as inhuman and a disgrace for those countries which have the much claims about human rights issues.
In this panel which held by the Organization for Defending Victims of Violence Sajadpour referred to overall threats of Israeli regime about striking Iran and said: undoubtedly the issue of striking Iran which has become the main topic of US's foreign policy is an Israeli issue.
Anyhow we cannot be ignorant to its no pleasant effects on our people's right, continued Sajadpour, stating that this issue is totally become a tool for solving or covering US's domestic problems.
The former Director of the Institute for Political and International Studies, the research branch of Iran's Foreign Ministry said that the dialogue of war which is spreading through the world and is supported by Israel's western friends is a sample of violation of human rights against Iranian people.
When they are always talking about war and say we are going to attack you today, tomorrow or this week or next week how the people of Iran can live in an easy way and in a peace atmosphere? Sajadpour asked.
He meantime added that this kind of rhetoric is against all international laws and against all the humanitarian considerations.
Referring to the historical records of Iranian resistance against foreign enemies Sajadpour said: it is true that Iranian don't fear of any country and have proved in through the history that will stand against the enemies in best possible way, however regarding to human rights declaration they have right to live in peace.
Meanwhile, in this "Violation of Human Rights on the Pretext of Sanctions" which held on 9 March in Room XXVII of the United Nations in Geneva, Iranian passenger airline pilot Captain Hooshang Shahbazi who successfully landed his passenger jet without front landing gear safely, spoke on unjust sanctions, particularly the ones imposed on the civil aviation industry in Iran.
