IRAN  - IRI Foreign Ministry spokesman Ramin Mehmanparast Monday urged enemies to bow before the grandeur and dignity of the Iranian people and stop hostility towards the nation.

Talking to IRNA, he paid tribute to the exemplary presence of the nation in the 9th parliamentary elections.

He said the Iranian people once again proved that they would be present at all scenes with more zeal and a stronger will and defend the system, leadership, independence and national interests of the country.

Mehmanparast said the Iranian nation, with its massive turnout in the Majlis elections showcased yet another example of its power in the foreign policy arena .

He said the world leaders have to accept the undeniable and vivid fact that the reality of life in Iran is the presence of people in all scenes.

Iranians created another epic in the history of their Islamic Revolution by a 64.2-percent participation in parliamentary elections on Friday, March 2.
